Common Issues
Solutions to frequently encountered problems.
Account & Connection
"Account not connecting"
Symptoms: Clicking "Connect" does nothing or shows an error.
Solutions:
- Refresh the page
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting
- Clear browser cache and try again
- If you use a wallet, ensure it is unlocked
Rides & Patterns
"No patterns detected"
Symptoms: Uploaded a ride but no patterns appeared.
Possible causes:
- Flat terrain
- Climbs below thresholds
- Poor GPS data quality
- Wrong activity type (currently cycling only)
Solutions:
- Check your ride has significant climbing
- Verify GPS track looks correct in your source app
- Try re-exporting and uploading as FIT file
- Ensure activity is marked as "Ride"
"Pattern already exists but I didn't get credit"
Symptoms: Completed a known pattern but it did not register.
Possible causes:
- GPS track did not match pattern boundaries closely enough
- Ride was uploaded but verification did not complete
Solutions:
- Re-upload the ride if needed
- Wait a few minutes and refresh
"Ride stuck processing"
Symptoms: Upload shows processing for more than 5 minutes.
Solutions:
- Refresh the page and check if it completed
- Try uploading again
- If using Strava sync, try manual FIT upload instead
- Check file is not corrupted
Points
"Points not updating"
Symptoms: Completed a roll but points did not increase.
Solutions:
- Refresh the app
- Wait a few minutes and check again
- Verify the pattern was successfully verified
Account & Data
"Strava/Garmin not syncing"
Symptoms: Connected account but rides are not appearing.
Solutions:
- Check connection is still authorized in settings
- Disconnect and reconnect the integration
- Ensure rides are marked as public in source app
- New rides may take a few minutes to sync
- Try manual FIT upload as alternative
"Want to delete my data"
Process:
- Go to Settings -> Privacy
- Click "Delete Account"
- Confirm deletion
Note: Off-chain account data and connections are removed. On-chain attestations are planned for post-launch.
