Tokenomics (Preview)
Pre-alpha notice
Boulder Roller is in pre-alpha. We track effort as points and store records off-chain today. Protocol tokens are planned for a later launch, and details may change.
Current: Points
During pre-alpha, riders earn points for verified effort. Points:
- Are not transferable
- Have no stated monetary value
- Help us model the reward system before launch
Points are expected to convert to protocol tokens at launch, with details published closer to release.

Tokens are not live in pre-alpha. Transferability, markets, and distribution parameters will be published before launch.
Rewards and Roles
Rewards flow to:
- Riders who complete patterns and place on leaderboards
- Stakers who back vaults with points (live) or tokens (post-launch)
- Soigneurs - elected vault curators who earn a share of distributions
- Protocol operations and liquidity

Staking
Staking is live in pre-alpha using points:
- Stake points into vaults (patterns) you believe in
- Earn 27% of vault epoch distributions, pro-rata by stake
- Points convert to DUNG tokens at launch
Post-launch, staking will use DUNG tokens with the same mechanics.
