Tokens (Planned)
Pre-alpha notice
Boulder Roller is in pre-alpha. We track effort as points and store records off-chain today. Protocol tokens are planned for a later launch, and details may change.
Current: Points
During pre-alpha, effort is tracked as points. Points are:
- Non-transferable
- Not a cryptocurrency
- Used to model future reward mechanics
Points are expected to convert to protocol tokens at launch, with details published closer to release.
Planned Protocol Tokens
CAL (planned)
CAL is the planned effort signal and staking asset. Post-launch, it is intended to:
- Represent effort in a tokenized form
- Power staking mechanics on climb patterns
- Align incentives between riders and supporters
DUNG (planned)
DUNG is the planned reward and utility token. Post-launch, it is intended to:
- Reward verified effort
- Power protocol utilities and cosmetic upgrades
- Enable governance and incentive programs
All token economics, supply details, and distribution parameters will be published before launch.
How They Fit Together (Post-launch)
A simplified view of the planned system:
- Ride and verify climb patterns
- Earn points pre-alpha, convert at launch
- Staking and distribution mechanics activate post-launch
What Changes After Launch
- On-chain attestations for effort records
- Token transfers and markets
- Staking and distribution mechanics
Until then, the focus is on validating the experience and tuning the model.
