Solutions to frequently encountered problems.


Wallet & Connection

"Wallet not connecting"

Symptoms: Clicking "Connect Wallet" does nothing or shows an error.

Solutions:

  1. Ensure your wallet extension is unlocked

  2. Refresh the page

  3. Try disconnecting and reconnecting

  4. Check that you're on Solana mainnet (not devnet)

  5. Clear browser cache and try again

"Transaction failed"

Symptoms: Wallet prompts for signature but transaction doesn't complete.

Solutions:

  1. Ensure you have enough SOL for fees (0.01 SOL minimum)

  2. Check Solana network status at status.solana.com

  3. Wait a moment and retry — network congestion can cause timeouts

  4. Try increasing priority fee in wallet settings


Rides & Patterns

"No patterns detected"

Symptoms: Uploaded a ride but no patterns appeared.

Possible causes:

  • Flat terrain — Climb patterns require elevation gain

  • Below thresholds — Very short or gentle inclines may not qualify

  • GPS issues — Poor signal can corrupt track data

  • Wrong activity type — Currently cycling only

Solutions:

  1. Check your ride has significant climbing (100m+ gain recommended)

  2. Verify GPS track looks correct in your source app

  3. Try re-exporting and uploading as FIT file

  4. Ensure activity is marked as "Ride" not "Run" or other

"Pattern already exists but I didn't get credit"

Symptoms: Climbed a known pattern but it didn't register.

Possible causes:

  • GPS track didn't match pattern boundaries closely enough

  • Ride was uploaded but proof wasn't submitted

  • Transaction failed silently

Solutions:

  1. Check your wallet for proof transactions

  2. Re-upload the ride if needed

  3. Ensure you clicked "Roll" after pattern detection

"Ride stuck processing"

Symptoms: Upload shows processing for more than 5 minutes.

Solutions:

  1. Refresh the page and check if it completed

  2. Try uploading again

  3. If using Strava sync, try manual FIT upload instead

  4. Check file isn't corrupted (open in another app first)


Rewards & Tokens

"Didn't receive DUNG"

Symptoms: Rolled a pattern but DUNG balance didn't increase.

Solutions:

  1. Check transaction confirmed on Solana explorer

  2. Refresh wallet and app

  3. DUNG may take a few seconds to appear after transaction confirms

  4. Verify you're checking the correct wallet

"CAL staking not working"

Symptoms: Can't stake CAL on patterns.

Solutions:

  1. Ensure you have CAL in your wallet

  2. Check you have SOL for transaction fees

  3. Verify the pattern accepts stakes (some may have caps)

  4. Try a smaller stake amount


Account & Data

"Strava/Garmin not syncing"

Symptoms: Connected account but rides aren't appearing.

Solutions:

  1. Check connection is still authorized in settings

  2. Disconnect and reconnect the integration

  3. Ensure rides are marked as public in source app

  4. New rides may take a few minutes to sync

  5. Try manual FIT upload as alternative

"Want to delete my data"

Process:

  1. Go to Settings → Privacy

  2. Click "Delete Account"

  3. Confirm deletion

Note: On-chain proofs cannot be deleted — they're permanent by design. Only off-chain account data and connections are removed.
