Vaults

A vault is the account attached to a climb. CAL is deposited in it and DUNG is settled from it every week (Settlement weeks).

Create a vault

A reviewed climb without a vault shows Create Vault on its web page. The climb's name and route are fixed; you choose how to pay.

MethodCost
DUNG100 DUNG, burned
CAL and USDC1,000 CAL and 2 USDC

Creating the vault makes you the climb's founder. Founder status is permanent and attached to the climb: you receive credit on the climb and hold the first Local Legend term, starting when the vault is created. It confers no leaderboard seat, KOM, or payout beyond that first term.

Deposit CAL

Riders with CAL deposited are the climb's backers and share 27% of its weekly DUNG (Distribution).

  1. Move CAL into the Boulder Roller Balance with Add funds if it is in your wallet.
  2. Open the climb, choose Deposit, enter an amount, and hold to confirm.

FeeNone

A deposit made mid-week earns nothing for the week in progress and joins the following week. Deposits have no effect on results, places, or Local Legend.

Withdraw CAL

Withdraw on the position, held to confirm, returns CAL to your Balance less a 0.5% exit fee. The withdrawal takes effect at the next settlement boundary, and any DUNG ready on the position is collected first.

Collect DUNG

DUNG earned by a deposit accrues on the position and shows as DUNG ready. Collect sends it to your wallet less a 5% fee. Leaderboard and Local Legend DUNG is paid at settlement, with no fee and no collection.

States

Deposits, withdrawals, and collections show Pending while confirming, Delayed when confirmation is slow, and Needs review when inspection is required. No funds are lost in any of these states, and none needs action from you: Boulder Roller resolves a review, and the operation then completes or is returned.
